Technical Proposals provide a structured workflow for submitting, reviewing, and approving technical decisions within a project context.
Workflow
- Draft — Author creates and refines the proposal content
- Under Review — Submitted for review by designated reviewers
- Approved — Proposal is approved and its backing article is verified
- Rejected — Proposal is rejected with documented reasons
- Superseded — Replaced by a newer revision
Backing Article
Each proposal automatically creates a backing knowledge article in the project's Knowledge Space. This ensures all proposal content is searchable, versionable, and exportable as PDF.
Revisions
Use Create Revision to create a new version of an approved or rejected proposal. The original is marked as superseded, maintaining a complete audit trail.
